Political Campaign Signs
As the 2012 election campaigns get underway, the Town of Louisville would like to remind all political candidates and supporters that the Town has very specific rules concerning the placement of political signs. The Town of Louisville Zoning Ordinance states as follows:
Section 11. 409. 3. a. Political Campaign Signs: All signs shall be removed by the property owner within fifteen (15) days after the results of an election are certified. All campaign signs must be erected on private property.
All campaign signs placed on public road right-of-ways will be promptly removed by the Town maintenance crews. The removed signs will be temporarily stored at the Town maintenance garage for retrieval by the owners. Any signs not retrieved will be discarded fifteen days after the election results are certified.
